Grilled Prawns with Garlic and Lemon

Prawns marinated in mixture of sautéed onion, minced garlic fresh parsley and butter combined with white wine, fresh lemon juice, and white pepper. Prepared prawns are grilled over direct heat until cooked through.

Ingredients -
8 (2) Prawn Brochettes
4 ounces Butter
1 tablespoon Diced Onions
1 teaspoon diced Garlic
1/2 teaspoon chopped Parsley
pinch White Pepper
Juice from 1 Fresh Lemon
4 ounces White Wine
 
Preparation:

1. Sauté finely minced onion, minced garlic, and fresh chopped parsley in butter.

2. Stir in white wine, fresh lemon juice and white pepper.

3. Simmer over low heat a few minutes.

4. Add a little water if the sauce becomes too reduced.

5. Pour the marinade over the prawns and let set in refrigerator for about 1 hour.

6. Grill over medium high heat until prawns are slightly brown on both sides, splashing a little marinade just before removing from the heat.
